Prof. Bai Ziqian Invited to Host the "Artificial Intelligence in Future Design and Culture" Session at the Cultural × Artificial Intelligence Greater Bay Area Forum

Organized by the Artificial Intelligence Design Institute (AiDLab), with the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA) as the main sponsor, the “Culture x Artificial Intelligence 2024-2025: Forum for the Greater Bay Area” was held on October 25th at the Park Hyatt Shenzhen, which gathered outstanding representatives from the technology sector, the design field, the cultural industry, the creative community and the academic circle. The forum brought together outstanding representatives from the technology sector, design field, cultural industry, creative community and academic circle to discuss in depth the transformation and driving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in the future development of cultural and creative industries.

The forum invited many famous guests to give keynote speeches, which comprehensively analyzed the diversified applications of artificial intelligence in the field of culture and creativity. Prof. Bai Ziqian was invited to be the moderator of the Culture X Artificial Intelligence Greater Bay Area Forum “Artificial Intelligence in Future Design and Culture”, and together with Prof. Zang Yingchun, Dr. Jin Daiqiang, and Hong Kong fashion designer Li Xin, they discussed the current practice and future potential of AI in the fashion industry. The discussion focused on the current development of AI in fashion and design, future challenges, and how AI technology can promote design innovation and cultural heritage, exploring its broad prospects for future development.

Prof. Chen Qianrui, Associate Professor, School of Fashion and Textiles, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, said, “Culture x Artificial Intelligence 2024-2025 brings together top experts from the fields of culture, design and innovation to explore the intersection of culture and AI, breaking through the traditional boundaries and realizing the creativity of fashion design beyond the digital world.
