team introduction
Lab of Human-Computer Interaction Design is a research center at the intersection of cutting-edge design, engineering, and intelligent technologies. We are dedicated to exploring the deep integration of human, machine, and environment, with a focus on tangible interaction, multimodal perception, wearable systems, and embodied intelligence. Grounded in design thinking as the underlying logic and driven by engineering innovation, the Lab aims to cultivate interdisciplinary R&D talents who possess a global vision and the ability to master complex technical systems, thereby driving industrial transformation.
Our research activities cover the following core areas:
Tangible Interaction and Wearable Systems: Exploring innovative forms that embed computing capabilities into clothing and portable devices.
Tactile Sensing and Embodied Intelligence: Developing high-sensitivity tactile sensors to endow machines with the ability to understand the physical world.
Human Factors Engineering and Behavior Perception: Combining human biomechanics with machine learning to deeply analyze human posture and behavioral intentions.
Human-Computer Interaction Theory and Applications: Building more natural and efficient human-computer collaboration interfaces and feedback mechanisms.
Postdoctoral recruitment
Position: Postdoctoral Fellow, 2 openings
Requirements:
A PhD degree in flexible electronics, mechanical engineering, wearable sensors, ubiquitous computing, or a related field.
Ability to conduct independent scientific research, with integrity and a strong work ethic. Proficient English reading and writing skills, and a track record of publishing high-level academic papers in relevant research areas.
Strong sense of responsibility and dedication, excellent teamwork, communication, and coordination skills.
Postdoctoral Benefits and Support:
The initial appointment is for two years. The total annual salary starts from 330,000 RMB (pre-tax, including postdoctoral living subsidies from Guangdong Province and Shenzhen City). The research group may provide additional performance-based bonuses based on work performance. Outstanding candidates may apply for the President's Excellent Postdoctoral Fellow position, with an annual salary of up to 500,000 RMB or more (including provincial and municipal subsidies).
Guangdong Province provides a living subsidy of 300,000 RMB (pre-tax) per eligible postdoctoral fellow during the appointment, and Shenzhen City provides a living subsidy of 120,000 RMB (pre-tax) per eligible postdoctoral fellow, both over a 24-month funding period.
