Dr. Bai Ziqian is an assistant professor at the School of System Design and Intelligent Manufacturing at Southern University of Science and Technology, and PI of the Lab of Human-Computer Interaction Design. She is Shenzhen Peacock Scholar and a Shanghai Pujiang Scholar. Before joining Southern University of Science and Technology in 2020, she obtained her PhD and completed postdoctoral research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research involves multidisciplinary areas, including smart textiles and clothing, textile sensors, wearables, interactive design and tangible interaction. She has received several national and provincial competitive research grants and published top journals. Her awards include the Red Dot "Best of the Best Design Award". Her design works have been exhibited at prestigious museums and juried exhibitions world widely.
