Lv Ru, graduated from Xi'an University of Engineering with a master degree, is now a visiting scholar in the School of System Design and Intelligent Manufacturing, Southern University of Science and Technology. He has more than 15 years of working experience in the Department of Textiles and Clothing of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) under the Innovation and Technology Commission of Hong Kong, and has participated in nearly 30 related research projects and published several patents and academic papers. His main research interests include new sustainable textile technologies, functional textile materials and finishing technologies, and R&D of high performance comfort textiles.
